The President of the Association of Corporate Affairs Managers of Banks (ACAMB), Rasheed Bolarinwa, has declared that the association is dedicated to cultivating positive perception within Nigeria, Sub-Saharan Africa And even beyond.

Cablenews24 reports that ACAMB president who stated this stated this at the 3rd ACAMB Stakeholders’ Conference, held in Lagos on Thursday, emphasized that innovation is also key. He said,” we must explore innovative solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and encourage forward-thinking approaches among banks and financial institutions.”

Bolarinwa attributed integrity in the country’s banking sector to the regulatory framework established by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). He said, ” the country’s banking and financial services sector is marked by resilience, adaptability, and innovation and stands as a beacon of stability amid economic fluctuations, adding that in a rapidly evolving financial landscape, ACAMB remains focused on promoting transparency, prioritizing consumer welfare, and advocating for industry excellence.”

According to the ACAMB president, the conference provides a vital platform to address key consumer issues and gain a comprehensive understanding of Nigeria’s banking and financial services sector.

“ACAMB recognizes the interconnected relationships among regulatory bodies such as the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Deposit Money Banks (DMBs), insurance and pension regulators like NAICOM and PENCOM, consumer protection agencies, and the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System (NIBSS).

“Our goals are ambitious yet crucial. We aim to empower consumers to make informed decisions about banking and financial services.

The ACAMB president emphasized that through the conference, ACAMB aims to bridge the past, present, and future, fostering collaboration, transparency, and innovation to create an inclusive, resilient, and consumer-centric banking and financial services landscape in Nigeria.
He said, “Building Bridges: Collaborative Solutions for a Trusted Banking and Financial Services Experience,” serves as a critical forum to address and resolve key consumer issues, as well as provide a complete understanding of Nigeria’s banking and financial services landscape.
Bolarinwa maintained that regulatory compliance is another cornerstone of ACAMB’s mission, as such deepening stakeholders’ understanding of existing and evolving CBN regulations, promoting a compliant and trustworthy environment remains one of their focus and agenda.
