FCMB’s “Millionaire Promo” boosts financial inclusion for customers
First City Monument Bank (FCMB) has launched the 10th edition of its acclaimed “Millionaire Promo,” a savings initiative aimed at promoting financial inclusion while rewarding loyal customers.
This season, the bank plans to distribute millions of naira to thousands of Nigerians, with 20 customers set to win ₦1 million each, alongside hundreds of others receiving cash prizes ranging from ₦20,000 to ₦100,000. The initiative, which will run until September 2025, is designed to encourage a culture of saving among Nigerians while offering life-changing opportunities.
According to the Divisional Head of Personal Banking at FCMB, Adetunji Lamidi, the promotion underscores the bank’s commitment to fostering financial stability and inclusivity. “The FCMB Millionaire Promo has become a meaningful way to reward customer loyalty and encourage savings. We are excited to see winners emerge this season from cities and towns across Nigeria,” he said.
The campaign is open to both new and existing customers, offering equal chances to participate. To qualify, customers must increase their account balance by at least ₦10,000 and maintain it for 30 days. Additional savings in multiples of ₦10,000 further enhance their chances of winning during monthly and seasonal draws.
Past winners have attested to the transformative impact of the promotion. Thompson Akinnodi from Ondo State described how his winnings supported his children’s education and family celebrations. Port Harcourt businessman Onuoha Harol invested his prize in expanding his block and real estate business, while Lagos-based poultry farmer Omoye Oyakhire used her winnings to scale her operations.
For Tanimu Suleiman, winning ₦1 million was an unexpected blessing that boosted his business. “I never believed in this until FCMB called me about winning ₦1 million.
The money will be invested in my business,” he said, urging others to embrace the savings culture promoted by the bank.
In the previous edition, FCMB rewarded over 17,000 customers, demonstrating its dedication to customer satisfaction and financial empowerment. This year’s edition aims to replicate and surpass this impact, bringing financial empowerment closer to Nigerians nationwide.
