Julius berger’s long-serving employees drive growth, legacy of excellence

Julius Berger Nigeria Plc has reinforced its commitment to fostering employee loyalty and organizational growth by recognizing 795 long-serving staff members for their dedication and contributions to the company’s success.

At the 2024 Long Service Awards ceremony held in Abuja, the Managing Director, Dr. Peer Lubasch, lauded the honorees as the driving force behind Julius Berger’s progress and Nigeria’s infrastructural development. He emphasized the crucial role the employees have played in solidifying the company’s leadership in the construction industry.

As we celebrate your achievements, let us remember that our shared values of collaboration, courage, responsibility, and excellence remain our guiding light. Together, we will continue building a legacy that inspires generations to come.,” Lubasch noted.

The Director of Administration, Dr. Abdulaziz Kaita, echoed similar sentiments while underscoring the importance of unity among employees. Reflecting on his own 35-year journey with Julius Berger, Kaita described the event as both professionally and personally significant, marking his assumption of office as Director of Administration effective January 1, 2024.

Kaita urged employees to continue working collaboratively and embracing the company’s core values of courage, responsibility, and excellence. “With the unwavering support of our partners and friends, we can conquer and challenge and achieve remarkable success. Let us continue to advance with strength, unity, and determination,” he said.

The awards celebrated staff milestones across multiple decades of service, highlighting a culture of loyalty within the company. Among the honorees were : q34 employees marking 10 years, 269 celebrating 15 years, 71 achieving 20 years, 298 reaching the 25-year milestone, 13 staffs commemorating 30 years, a 10 exceptional individuals recognized for 35 years of unwavering service.
