Transcorp hotels targets growth with Uzo Oshogwe’s appointment as CEO

Transcorp Hotels Plc is poised for its next phase of strategic growth as it names Uzo Oshogwe the new Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2025.
Oshogwe, a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience spanning management, investments, and corporate leadership, will succeed Dupe Olusola. Currently serving as the MD/CEO of Afriland Properties Ltd, Oshogwe’s career reflects a track record of driving organizational transformation. Her professional journey includes key leadership roles at United Bank for Africa Plc and Accenture UK.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Ambrose Alli University, an MSc in Information Systems Design from the University of Westminster, and a Real Estate Management certificate from Harvard Business School, Oshogwe’s diverse educational background is set to complement her leadership at Transcorp Hotels.
Speaking on the appointment, Chairman of Transcorp Hotels’ Board, Emmanuel Nnorom, expressed confidence in Oshogwe’s capacity to steer the company towards sustained excellence. Uzo Oshogwe’s exceptional leadership skills and extensive experience in driving organisational growth make her the right person to continue building on Dupe Olusola’s remarkable achievements at Transcorp Hotels Plc.
