Stanbic IBTC FUZE talent show showcases Nigerian creativity, wwards N50m to winners 

The third edition of the Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers’ FUZE Talent Show, themed “Light It Up,” concluded recently in Lagos, celebrating Nigeria’s vast creative potential. Organized by Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers, a subsidiary of Stanbic IBTC Holdings, the event highlighted exceptional talents across music, dance, fashion, and technology.

The grand finale was not just a competition but a testament to the ingenuity of Nigerian youth. Out of over 6,000 submissions, 28 participants advanced to a rigorous boot camp, culminating in a showcase of four category winners: Esther Okonta (Fashion), Grace James (Tech), Caleb Edet Tremor (Music), and Benedict Emmanuel (Dance). Each winner was awarded N7.5 million, with a total prize pool of N50 million distributed.

Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers, Olumide Oyetan, praised the participants for their innovation and resilience. “FUZE 3.0 has exceeded our expectations in every way. The talent displayed by our contestants is extraordinary, reinforcing our belief in the immense potential of Nigerian youths. This platform has again proven its worth in nurturing and showcasing our nation’s creative prowess,” he stated.

The FUZE Talent Show has grown into a cultural and artistic phenomenon, attracting industry leaders, celebrities, and dignitaries. This year’s festival showcased not only talent but also the power of innovation, as participants leveraged technology to enhance their art.
