MABA, DGC Express partners to boost african exports

The drive to position African-made products on the global stage has received a major boost as Made in Africa Brand Ambassador (MABA) and Denca Global Courier Services (DGC Express) formalized a strategic alliance through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The partnership, announced in a joint statement, seeks to create a robust export ecosystem that empowers African businesses, enhances their global visibility, and contributes to economic growth across the continent.

According to the CEO of MABA, Mrs. Flora Mbeledeogu, the collaboration will combine MABA’s expertise in brand advocacy with DGC Express’s logistical and export consulting capabilities. “We are renowned for championing the visibility and recognition of Made-in-Africa products, while DGC Express is also a leading export consulting and logistics company supporting African businesses in global trade.

“This partnership will bring together the brand advocacy expertise of MABA and the robust logistics capabilities of DGC Express to create an enabling environment for African exports. Both organizations have committed to organizing international exhibitions, export-focused events, and trade shows that will showcase the diversity and quality of African products to global buyers,” she noted.

Another significant feature of the partnership is the reduction of logistical barriers for exporters. DGC Express is set to provide subsidized shipping and packaging services for MABA-affiliated projects and members, while also simplifying customs procedures and offering seamless payment solutions. These measures aim to lower costs and streamline the export process for African businesses.

“This partnership marks a significant milestone in our efforts to promote African products and businesses globally,” Mrs. Mbeledeogu added, emphasizing the shared commitment of both organizations to fostering an enabling environment for African exports.
