Chartered institute of stockbrokers sets new leadership direction with Adeonipekun’s appointment 

The Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS) has announced the appointment of Ayo Adeonipekun as its new registrar and chief executive officer, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the institute.

With over 25 years of experience in finance and corporate management, Adeonipekun steps into the role following the retirement of Josiah Akerewusi, who served the institute for 10 years.

Adeonipekun’s impressive track record includes his tenure as the pioneer Managing Director and CEO of Reliance Capital Limited. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, a Master’s Degree in Finance, and is currently advancing his expertise through a PhD in Finance at Olabisi Onabanjo University. A Fellow of the CIS and a Chartered Accountant, Adeonipekun brings a wealth of experience and a vision for growth to his new position.

Speaking on the appointment, the President and Chairman of the CIS, Oluropo Dada, praised Adeonipekun’s credentials and leadership acumen.
