Emmanson Sent To Kirikiri Prison Over Ibom Air Drama

Cablenews2 reports that Comfort Emmanson On Sunday, boarded Ibom Air flight from the Uyo International Airport in Akwa Ibom State to the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos.

She was alleged to have gone overboard by slapping a female member of the crew when told to switch off her mobile phone- a behaviour considered to be unruly.

Emmanson’s unruly was said to have disrupted the flight and was on Monday, arraigned by the police and subsequently sent to Kirikiri Correctional Centre in Lagos.

According to Tunde Moshood, the Special Adviser on Media and Communications to the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo (SAN), who confirmed the development, the female passenger also attacked the ground crew of Ibom Air and Aviation Security personnel, while on the tarmac.

“The more reason the flying public should be more careful. The unruly passenger on Uyo-Lagos bound Ibom Air, Miss Comfort Emmanson, has been charged to court and she’s now cooling off in Kirikiri”, Moshood wrote.

She had to be taken off the plane forcefully in Lagos, with parts of her body revealed.
