He further stated, “As a role model to many Nigerian young ladies, her dressing internationally will negatively influence them. I also expected Davido to guide her better. Cultural representation matters, and it’s crucial. I am disappointed in Davido for allowing her to dress this way. I am really disappointed.”

The post was accompanied by photos of Davido and Chioma at the Grammy Awards, allowing social media users to form their own opinions on the matter.

Davido’s “With You,” featuring Omah Lay, Burna Boy’s “Love,” Ayra Starr’s “Gimme Dat” featuring Wizkid, Tyla’s “Push 2 Start,” and “Hope & Love” by Eddy Kenzo & Mehran Matin were all nominated for the ‘Best African Music Performance’ category at the 68th Grammy Awards.
