Lagos, Nigeria – United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc is gearing up to host a special edition of its quarterly UBA Business Series, placing a spotlight on Africa’s emerging generation of female leaders. This installment, themed “Gen W – ‘The Evolved Woman,'” is specifically designed to celebrate and empower the modern woman, promising a dynamic discussion on ambition, leadership, and growth in today’s rapidly changing world.

Cablenews24 reports that the session is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM at UBA House in Lagos. The event will convene a distinguished group of female leaders and professionals who will share their insights, experiences, and practical strategies for navigating the complexities of today’s professional landscape.

To extend its reach, the session will also be streamed live across all UBA digital platforms. Interested participants are encouraged to register online to attend virtually or in person.

The “Gen W” edition of the Business Series aims to propel the conversation surrounding women in leadership forward, highlighting those who are proactively shaping industries, leading businesses, and redefining success on their own terms. The discussion will move beyond simply seeking opportunities, celebrating those women who are confidently creating them.

The event will feature an inspiring lineup of speakers:

  • Ayo Mario-Ese: Award-winning Broadcaster

The engaging conversation will be hosted by media personality and actor, Tobi Bakre. Panelists are expected to share their personal journeys, offering perspectives on navigating professional spaces, building resilient businesses, embracing authenticity, and redefining leadership as women in an evolving global landscape.
